Day trip to the Lake District

Description: Discover one of the Lake District’s classic walks with the Old Man of Coniston Circular. This scenic loop takes you up to the summit of the Old Man (803m), offering stunning views over Coniston Water, surrounding fells, and even the sea on clear days. The route combines rugged mountain paths, old quarry tracks, and peaceful tarns, making it a rewarding and varied adventure. Suitable for fit walkers, it’s a moderately challenging hike with some steep sections, but the panoramic views at the top make every step worthwhile.
